We usually complete our Davo frames with Campagnolo components.
Reliability, functionality, lightness, 3 Years warranty, style and design, and a list of attributes that can go on are all associated with this Italian company...
The same goes for our Davo frame, so those two make a really nice composition.

Completed with Campagnolo CHORUS 2007.

Painted in Custom Green (extra $85), imagined and mixed by Alex Paul from AP Designs - for one of the biggest motorcycle makers in the world, this color has to be seen live, doesn't really get justice on the www.

Main improvement for Campagnolo in 2007 line are external BB cups paired with Ultra Torque cranks. This system is incredibly stiff but in the same time glides like nothing is there. Extremely smooth oversized sealed bearings are those which provide such performance.

Campagnolo has manufactured carbon cranks for years, and the 2007 line is the pinnacle of design and functionality.
Cranks are stiff and light (Chorus - 728 grams including BB cups and bearings) at the same time, and Ultra Torque connection is maintenance free.
Compact chainrings 50/34 are more and more popular, especially among cyclists riding in hilly areas. Campagnolo is the only manufacturer who specifically makes front derailleur for "normal" (53/39) chainrings or compact (designated CT). The new (2007 models) geometry of the front derailleur, called QuickShift (QS) makes shifting faster than in previous years.

Compact chainrings contribute for smaller cassettes. New for 2007 is also 11-25 combination which can be ideal for average riders. Combined with 50/34 can give you enough speed at the downhill or flat (~ 63-64 KmH at ~115RPM), yet allows you to cross really hard hills.

Not only is that "compact" system lighter, but there are more options for smaller gear ratios, without too much strain on the chain or need to use medium cage rear derailleur.
Short cage Chorus rear derailleur can accept cassette sprocket up to 26T.

For years, Campagnolo has utilized a Dual Pivot brake for the front and a Single Pivot brake for the rear.
The result is weight reduction, while maintaining proper braking force, distributed properly on the front and rear wheel. For 2007, the new adjusting bolts are much easier to operate.

Also new for 2007 are Skeleton brakes. Don't get fooled by the name, those calipers are cold forged Electron, and they are stronger than any other. Precise controlled braking, is the result what everybody wants. Front Double Pivot brake glides on ball bearing.

Front fork, Easton SLX, painted to match (extra $195) the rest of the frame.

Our Davo frame uses Integral Head set.
We don't have any problems or complaints with such a system, as through the years we figured out who is the main "culprit" of loose Integral Head sets.
And the funniest thing, it is not a head set that makes problems!

Custom, custom, custom.
So, when customer asks for white Fizik Arion, we deliver. Concerning the quality of Arion saddles there is nothing to say, but the best. Used by Pro riders for years in the toughest of Euro races.

Davo frame is 65% carbon. Carbon tubing is inserted in custom hand crafted Al lugs. It looks like the seat post and the seat tube are the same piece!
